Fallow Deer Hunting Season: There are no seasonal restrictions for hunting Fallow Deer in Texas, however we highly recommend Sept. – Feb. because they will be in hard Antlers.
We have huge Fallow Bucks here on the Oak Springs Ranch. They vary between white fallow, spotted fallow and chocolate fallow. These animals roam the entire ranch and are frequently around feeder areas. Mostly hunted safari style or in blinds. Some of our fallows have 8” palms and are best hunted just out of velvet because they fight fiercely during the rut and break or damage the Antlers. The fallow deer is very loud in rut and can be heard grunting loudly all night. They urinate heavily on themselves and commonly kill others in the rut.
You may hunt our Trophy Fallow Deer using any method you prefer, including Spot and Stalk, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Safari Style, or from a Blind.
Trophy Fallow Deer Hunt: By Quote
All hunts require a minimum of one night lodging: $250 per night

**If you shoot a pregnant female of any breed, you will be fined $1,000.**
